No but seriously, I just went to the doctor and she informed me that my hormones are the reason my knee has been painful, because they’ve been causing the cartilage to erode irregularly. Meaning my patella (kneecap) and femur (thigh bone) are scraping over each other in places. Yaaay. Apparently it’s not an uncommon problem for young women.
She’s given me exercises to strengthen the muscles in my quads without putting further strain on my knee joint. That should keep the bones from scraping over each other so much and eventually help the cartilage to repair itself.
:(
In slightly better news: my birthmarks all looked healthy.

It’s not that my English isn’t good enough but having to convert weight and size for everything I eat is a little bit annoying and pretty much the reason I never started a foodlog before.
I also quite like the Dutch foodlog because it also tells you if you’re getting enough vitamins and iron and all that. Something I need to keep an eye on.
Appointment with my GP tomorrow morning for my knee and a check up of my skin (I have like a gazillion birthmarks) so I’ll let you guys know how that goes.
Current weight (May 30): 91.3 kg/201 lbs
Goal weight (June 20): 86.5 kg/191 lbs
That’s right. I’m going to lose 10 lbs in three weeks. This may seem like crazy talk, but hear me out.
How
Well I’m going to be following Cassey’s meal plan again. Last time I followed the meal plan I’d lost 9 lbs on the 21 day mark. But a lot of those days I spent sitting down, either at my job or at my desk at home. This time the weather is a lot nicer and I’m planning on spending a lot of time outside being active. Also I haven’t been eating healthy at all lately so I’ll probably drop the same amount of water weight again.
Why
I don’t feel good/healthy. How could I? I’ve barely exercised the last couple of weeks and I’ve been eating all the wrong things. June 20 I’m going to Spain for a month and I want to feel good about my body. Right now I feel as fat as I did when I started the 90 Day Challenge last year, and that’s not good.
So
I will be writing on this tumblr a lot, but I’ll have to set a limit to my computer time. I think with keeping up with my Japanese studies and keeping in touch with my friends in addition to weight loss blogging, 3 hours is a realistic limit to set.

Yesterday I sent in my thesis!!! And today I’m going to a friend until Tuesday, so that’s why it might be a little quiet around here. But starting Tuesday I’m going to get back on track. Clean eating and exercise every day! Not to mention spend as much time away from my desk as possible :D
